This show required having several play areas which all had to live on stage for the entire show.
The Set

On Stage Right is the interior of Daisy's sitting room. Down Center are two stools representing the car. Far Stage Left is a pay phone that Hoke uses to call Boolie. Center Left is Boolie's office. Located Center is the cemetary area. A tree branch hangs above it. Up Stage and up two levels is the nursing home for the final sceen.

For the preshow lighting I used geometric Gobos and Gels shooting across stage from either side. I used a bilnd Gobo for the nursing home area. I also brought up the backlight to highlight the stools.
