Rehearsal For Murder

This show required me to turn this small low ceiling space into an "empty theater" with a working show curtain, a dead hung travaler and legs. This was a bit of a challenge for this group. However, we pulled it off.
This photo shows me in the set of the flash-back sceen. This is a sitting room between a bedroom (the door I'm standing in) and the main living area of a New York highrise apartment. There is also a half door on stage left which the actors used to enter the "room."

Later in the show, during the rehearsal, the furnishings only were brouoght back in. I was told by several patrons that the lack of the doors and window realy made it distintually different for them.
