The Tubes
Fee Waybill

Front Man

Since 197x Fee has been The Tubes lead singer for most of the bands duration. Weather he was singing heart-felt lyrics, chasing audience members with a chain-saw or standing atop "Quay Lude's" towering shoes, Fee has been the band's identifying voice.

Break From The Band

In 1985 Fee released a solo album, (name), which boar a hit single, (name). As The Tubes popularity was starting to waiver, Fee decided this was a good time to try new ventures claiming, "I don't want to go back to playing small clubs." He left the band and moved to Los Angeles.

Once there, he tried to further his solo carrer and also break into acting. However, Fee never got that choice roll. He did appear in films such as the first Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, sitting next to Clarence Clemens.

Reunited

In 199x the opportunity arose to rejoin The Tubes. Record company, (name), offered the band a contract, but only if the original members were together.
